Stakes winner and successful sire Service Stripe will relocate from Crestwood Farm near Lexington to Dr. William Solomon’s Pin Oak Lane Farm near New Freedom, Pa. Ro Parra of Millennium Farms in Kentucky will retain majority ownership after the move to Pennsylvania, while Solomon will manage Service Stripe’s stud career. He will stand for a stud fee of $3,500.

Service Stripe, a 16-year-old son of Deputy Minister out of the stakes-winning Blushing Groom mare Wedding Picture, has sired a dozen stakes winners, including Saratoga grade I winner Cashier’s Dream, 17-time added-money winner Secret Romeo, and nine-time stakes winner Born to Dance.

“We are moving Service Stripe to Pennsylvania to take advantage of the lucrative breeding program there,” Parra said.

Service Stripe has sired the career earners of nearly $8.4 million. He has progeny earnings this year of nearly $1.8 million.
