Tessa Blue kicked off the Breeders' Cup World Championships stakes undercard when she went wire-to-wire and demolished the field in the $250,000 Inside Information Breeders' Cup Stakes at Monmouth Park Oct. 26. Lost Etiquette finished second, while Talkin About Love checked in third.

Tessa Blue, a 3-year-old daughter of Awesome Again   out of the Conquistador Cielo mare Blue Sky Princess, was ridden by Mike Smith. She set fractions of :24 1/5, :48, 1:11 4/5, and 1:35 2/5 before completing the 1 1/16-mile race in 1:41 3/5 over a sloppy track.

The winner paid $4.80, $3.40, and $2.40. Lost Etiquette paid $5 and $2.60, while Talkin About Love paid $2.20.

Frank Brothers trains Tessa Blue for Bruce Lunsford. She was bred in Maryland by Frank Wright.
