Northwest Farms' Smarty Deb, unbeaten in four lifetime starts and pre-entered in the Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) Oct. 27 breezed five furlongs in 1:00 1/5 Sunday morning over the fast main track at Monmouth Park. It was the second fastest time of the morning for 13 works at the distance.

Smarty Deb, who beat colts in the Gottstein Futurity at Emerald Downs last month, shipped in almost two weeks ago with trainer Doris Harwood. The Smart Strike   filly had her first drill over the Monmouth track Oct. 13, when she breezed five furlongs in 1:02 over a muddy track.

Silly Goose Racing Stable's Prop Me Up, currently on the preference list for the Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I), breezed a half-mile in :49 4/5 for trainer Greg Sacco.

The 5-year-old mare by Reparations, who won her last two starts, including the Lady's Secret Stakes here, is the only horse listed on the preference list for the Distaff, and would be able to start if there is a defection from the field.
