Day Rides Five Winners at Churchill

Jockey Pat Day won five races on Friday's card at Churchill Downs, the 19th time he has achieved that feat at the Louisville oval.
Day rode Gary Tanaka's Rose of Zollern to victory in the track's feature race to earn the fifth win on the day. Day leads the jockey standings on the current meet with 21 wins, 11 more than Robby Albarado.
Bill Mott-trained Rose of Zollern completed the mile on the main track in 1:35.23 to earn the win, with Reflect the Music and Enquiry Woman both 2 1/4 lengths back in a dead heat for second. Rose of Zollern $2.60, $2.10, and $2.10.
Day's other winners on the card were Check the Books ($12.20) in the second race, Unbridled Lassie ($2.60) in the third, Colors In The Snow ($14.40) in the fifth and Berra ($6.20) in the seventh. (Charts,
