Senor Swinger retires with earnings of nearly $1 million

Grade II winner Senor Swinger will begin his stallion career in 2008 at Charles B. Lyman III's Maui Meadow Farm near West Chester, Pa. His fee will be $4,000 live foal.

A 7-year-old son of El Prado, Senor Swinger was a stakes winner four consecutive years and a graded stakes winner in two of them. His graded wins came in the Jefferson Cup (gr. IIIT) and Crown Royal American Turf (gr. IIIT) Stakes in 2003 and the Belmont Breeders' Cup (gr. IIT) and Arlington (gr. IIIT) Handicaps the following year.

Senor Swinger, who won a total of seven stakes, retired with 10 wins from 37 races and earnings of $964,537, of which $882,397 was earned on grass. He is out of the winning Kris S. mare Smooth Swinger.
