Tethra, who once ranked third on the Canadian leading sire's list, will stand in 2008 at John Burness' Colebrook Farms Stallion Station near Uxbridge, Ontario, Canada. His fee will be $3,000 in Canadian funds.
Tethra,who chalked up $2 million in progeny earnings the year he ranked third, has sired eight stakes winners, including 2007 added-money winner Don's Folly. His other runners included multiple stakes winners Kissed by a Prince and Mighty Quinn, plus Will He Crow, who placed in the 2004 Queen's Plate Stakes.
A multiple stakes winner, Tethra has sired the earners of $9.6 million.
