David and Jill Heerensperger's Millennium Wind, 11th in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I), may make his next start in the $500,000 Swaps Stakes (gr. I), according to trainer David Hofmans.

The 1 1/8-miles Swaps Stakes is scheduled to be run at Hollywood Park on July 15.

Sent off at 9-1 in the Kentucky Derby off his impressive score in the Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), Millennium Wind had a troubled trip while chasing record-setting fractions in the Run for the Roses under Laffit Pincay Jr.

"He clipped heels and got cut up, but he's all right," Hofmans said.

Millennium Wind, a half-brother to 1999 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes (gr. I) winner Charismatic, broke his maiden at Hollywood Park last November and finished second to Point Given in the Hollywood Futurity (gr. I) last December.
