First Winner for Lightnin N Thunder

Stakes-placed Lightnin N Thunder was represented by his first winner when his daughter, Always Enchanted, won Sept. 14 at Belmont Park.

A homebred for George Steinbrenner's Kinsman Farm, Always Enchanted won the six-furlong race in 1:11.53. She is the sixth foal and fifth winner from the Seeking the Goldmare Sweet Magie, who is a half-sister to Horse of the Year Holy Bull.

Lightnin N Thunder (Storm Cat--Things Change, by Stalwart) stands at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2007 fee was $4,000.
