Pair of $425,000 Purchases Start Third Day of Sale

A daughter of Unbridled's Song  and a son of Cherokee Runled the morning portion of the third day of the Keeneland September yearling sale. Each was purchased for $425,000.

The daughter of Unbridled's Song was purchased by the Thoroughbred Advisory Group from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, and the son of Cherokee Run was bought by Zayat Stable from the consignment of Denali Stud.

Bred in Kentucky by Bill Casner and Kenny Troutt's WinStar Farm, the dark bay or brown daughter of Unbridled's Song was produced from the stakes winning Polish Numbers mare Dawn Princess and is from the family of champion and stakes producer Countess Diana.

The son of Cherokee Run was bred in Kentucky by Barry Weisbord and Craig Bandoroff, who owns Denali Stud.

The dark bay or brown colt was produced from the Dixieland Band mare Dreams of Success and is from the family of grade I winner Burning Roma.

Also hitting near the top for the day, a son of Mr. Greeleyout of the Storm Catmare Cindy's Quest was purchased by E.J. Hudson for $410,000.

The colt was consigned by Lane's End, agent, and was bred in Kentucky by Dobson-McNeill and Cheyenne Stables.

The colt is from the family of stakes winner Honor the Flag, Miss Josh, and Big Easy.
