Disco Rico, who is closing in on $1 million in 2007 progeny earnings, will stand at Keane Stud near Amenia, N.Y. The 10-year-old son of Citidancer will stand for the same $4,000 fee that he stood for in 2007 at Murmur Farm near Darlington, Md.

A Maryland champion and graded stakes winner, Disco Rico has sired added-money winners Pure Disco, La Chica Rica, Auntie Millie, and Disco Fox. The first two-named are stakes winners this year, and Disco Fox is twice stakes-placed. Also in 2007, Disco Rico is represented by 74% winners from starters.

Disco Rico won nine of 17 races and earned $532,244. He captured seven stakes, including the Maryland Breeders' Cup Handicap (gr. III) and Jersey Shore Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. III). Out of the Apalachee mare Round It Off, Disco Rico is from the same female family as champion sprinter and successful sire Smoke Glacken.
