National Issues Forum Set for November in Lexington

The American Horse Council has scheduled a National Issues Forum Nov. 2 at Keeneland in Lexington.

Among the topics for the forum are immigration, federal tax laws, import and export issues, conservation easements, equine piroplasmosis, federal legislation and regulations, and the Unwanted Horse Coalition, the AHC reported.

Further details on the forum, which is open to all horse owners, will be available in September. Interested attendees can call the AHC at 202-296-4031 or visit the organization’s Web site at www.horsecouncil.org for more information.

The AHC held its regular three-day National Issues Forum earlier this year in Washington, D.C.
