HRRN to Broadcast Live from Saratoga for Travers

The Horse Racing Radio Network’s broadcast of the Aug. 25 Travers Stakes (gr. I) from Saratoga will be carried in the Saratoga Springs, N.Y., area on WABY 1160 AM  and also will be available via the Web at www.equineforum.net and www.wabymoon.com

HRRN will provide two hours of live coverage beginning at 4 p.m. EDT, and will showcase the Travers as well as the King’s Bishop Stakes (gr. I) and the Bernard Baruch Handicap (gr. IIT). The broadcast, which will be co-hosted by Mike Penna and Pete Kules, will feature analysis of the races as well as pre-race commentary from paddock interviewer Jude Feld.

Listeners throughout Central Kentucky and southern Indiana can tune in on the HRRN flagship stations, WLXO 96.1 FM in Lexington and WAVG 1450 AM in Jeffersonville, Ind., and Louisville.

Penna and Kules will also host their weekly Equine Forum show live from Saratoga Aug. 25 from 8-10 a.m. The show is available via podcast on the HRRN Web site.
