Godolphin Racing's Noverre, a 2-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Rahy, remained undefeated in three career starts when he won Wednesday's TNT July Stakes (Eng-III) at Newmarket, England. Trained by David Loder, Noverre dueled with Media Mogul (by First Trump) in the stretch before winning a short head as the 5-2 favorite in the six-horse field. The final time for six furlongs over a good course was 1:13.06.
"This is a good horse with an excellent temperament and I'm sure he can go on from this," Loder told Sporting Life. "This performance is typical of the horseāhe's really tough but he will never be a 10-length winner."
Produced from the Northern Dancer mare Daunseur Fabuleux, Noverre won the Prix La Fleche after breaking his maiden in France previous to the July Stakes.
