Mineshaft stands at Lane's End Farm.

Mineshaft  , the 2003 Horse of the Year, was represented by his first winner when his daughter Minewander won Aug. 3 at six furlongs in 1:11.85 for Carl F. Pollard at Ellis Park. Bred in Kentucky by Jaime S. Carrion, Trustee, Minewander is a half-sister to graded stakes winner Wander Mom and is out of the Storm Bird mare Wander Storm.

A four-time grade I winner his championship year, Mineshaft (A.P. Indy-Prospectors Delite, by Mr. Prospector) stands at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm near Versailles, Ky. His 2007 fee was $100,000.
