Sir Michael Stoute, who has saddled such notable winners of the Princess Margaret Stakes (Eng-III) as classic winner Russian Rhythm and group II winner Enthused, added another potential star to that group when the filly Visit captured this year’s renewal at Ascot on Sunday.
Stoute has high hopes for the 2-year-old, who broke her maiden in the race by an impressive 1 1/2 lengths.
Visit is from the first crop of stallion Oasis Dream, who was a champion at ages 2 and 3 in England. She races for owner/breeder Khalid Abdullah, who also bred and raced her sire.
Visit is out of the stakes winning Kahyasi mare Arrive, who is a full sister to the remarkable broodmare, Hasili, the dam of champions Dansili, Banks Hill and Intercontinental along with group I winners Heat Haze and Cacique.
The bay filly may race next in the Cheveley Park Stakes (Eng-I) or the Lowther Stakes (Eng-II).
