Saratoga Springs to Stud in France

Darley Stud's group I winner Saratoga Springs will enter stud next year at Haras du Mezeray in France after standing the Southern Hemisphere breeding season this year at Milluna Stud in Australia.

A 5-year-old son of El Gran Senor, who was pensioned from breeding activities last week, Saratoga Springs won five of 16 starts, including the Racing Post Trophy (Eng-I), the Grosvenor Casinos Dante Stakes (Eng-II), and the Juddmonte Breresford Stakes (Ire-III). After a successful European campaign, Saratoga Springs returned to the U.S. where he was was winless in four outings. Produced from the General Assembly mare Population, Saratoga Springs was bred in Ontario, Canada by Huntington Stud Farm.
