Messara Elected President of TBA

At a July 20 meeting of Thoroughbred Breeders Australia, the board elected John Messara as president of the association.
 
Messara is also the current chairman of Aushorse and sits on the Australian Pattern Committee.
 
The election of office bearers of the association took place after the announcement that Aushorse had become a member of the TBA and that Messara and Ken Barry had been appointed as directors on the TBA board.
 
In addition, Trevor Lobb was re-elected as vice president and Sally Oakes was re-elected as treasurer.
 
“This development will result in Australian breeders having one powerful voice, which I believe will allow our industry to progress," said Messara.
