Wildcat Heir to Join Stallion Roster at Journeyman Stud Taylor Made, WinStar, and New Farm venture Stallion Wildcat Heir, a Grade I winner by Storm Cat's son Forest Wildcat, will take up residence at Brent Fernung's Journeyman Stud near Belleview, Fla., for the 2008 breeding season. "We really appreciate the job that John Sykes and Brent did under the Cloverleaf banner, and we are looking forward to the continued management of Wildcat Heir under Brent's care. To date, he has done a fantastic job with the horse and his first foals are really looking the part," said Byron Rogers, director of stallion operations for Taylor Made Stallions. "His first foals are so good that we gave strong consideration to relocating the horse to Kentucky." Wildcat Heir will have his first crop of weanlings sell this November. |
