Eclipse Press, the book publishing division of The Blood-Horse, Inc., is hosting a major author event on Thursday, May 3. The "Eclipse Press Showcase" will feature seven of the publishing house's authors signing their books from 6-8 p.m. at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington.

Among the distiguished group are Cot Campbell, author of "Lightning in a Jar"; Edward L. Bowen; Arnold Kirkpatrick, author of "Investing in Thoroughbreds"; Pohla Smith; Lucy Zeh; and Milton C. Toby and Karen Perch.
