First Winner for Grade I Winner Whywhywhy

Grade I winner Whywhywhy was represented by his first winner when his daughter We're in the Money won by eight lengths June 30 at Charles Town in her initial outing. Bred in West Virginia by Charles A. Woodson Jr., We're in the Money captured the 4 1/2-furlong race in :54.20 for Ray M. Pennington III. She is the first foal from the winning Numerous mare Numerous Moves.

Winner of the 2002 Futurity Stakes (gr. I), Whywhywhy (Mr. Greeley--Thorough Fair, by Quiet American  ) stands for $7,500 at the Beck family's Gainesway Farm near Lexington.
