Desert Warrior notched his first winner when his son Run Warrior Run won first time out June 17 at Delaware Park. Run Warrior Run covered the 4½ furlongs in :53.99. Bred in New York by Joseph Daniels and Jennifer Daniels, Run Warrior Run is owned by Frank Henson.
Desert Warrior, a 7-year-old stakes-placed son of Deputy Minister out of the Secretariat mare Navajo Pass, stands at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds near Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for a fee of $3,000.
