Worldly will attempt to become the sixth horse to sweep Hollywood Park’s turf stakes for 3-year-olds in Saturday’s $150,000 Cinema Breeders’ Cup Handicap (gr. IIIT).

The English-bred son of Selkirk, unbeaten in two U.S. starts, rallied to score by a half-length under jockey Victor Espinoza in the Will Rogers (gr. IIIT) at one mile on the Lakeside Turf Course on May 19.

He will stretch out one additional furlong as he attempts to join Give Me Strength (1982), Something Lucky (1987), Unfinished Symph (1994), Via Lombardia (1995), and Let Bob Do It (1996) with a victory in the grass event.

Round Table swept the races on the main track in 1957.

Worldly, owned by Christopher Wright and trained by Ben Cecil, won one of three starts in England before coming to the U.S. He won an allowance race at 1 1/8 miles at Santa Anita on April 6 while making his local debut.

The 120-pound high weight in the Cinema, Worldly will break from the three-post under Espinoza.

Golden Balls, an Irish-bred owned by Fontana Racing and trained by James Cassidy, won the La Puente at Santa Anita while making his U.S. debut April 14. He won two of seven starts in England as a 2-year-old.

Tycoon Doby has won back-to-back races for trainer Paddy Gallagher, while Mr. Eddie Boy captured the Alcatraz at Golden Gate Fields on May 19. Level Red tries turf for the first time after flirting with some top 3-year-olds on the main track, and the English-bred Gweebara won his first U.S. start at Hollywood May 6.
