Graded Stakes Producer Sweet Annativo Dead

Sweet Annativo, dam of grade II winner Mister Fotis, died June 13 of colic. Owned by George Haimalas, Sweet Annativo was boarded at Peaches Robinson's Blue Sink Farm near Ocala, Fla.

Mister Fotis was bred by Haimalas' wife, Jean, and raced in the name of the family's Alago. A son of Diligence, Mister Fotis won three stakes, including the 2006 Richter Scale Breeders' Cup Sprint Championship Handicap (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park.

Sweet Annativo was bred in Florida by Diane H. Flowers. A winning daughter of Puntivo out of the Prove Out mare Sweet Anna M., she produced seven named foals, including three winners, and a Medaglia d'Oro   colt this year.
