Making her second career start, the gray filly out of Caught Fire, by Lite the Fuse, took a five-furlong trial for the $150,000 D. S. Shine Futurity by 6 1/2 lengths, leading at every call. Bred in Louisiana by L. P. Cormier, Swifty Victress sold at the Evangeline March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training to Tony Agilar, who trains her for owner A. Philip Henderson. Macho Uno (Holy Bull --Primal Force, by Blushing Groom), a lifetime earner of $1,851,803 when he was retired in 2003, won three of four starts as a 2-year-old in 2000.
