Grade II winner Kafwain   came through with his first winner June 3 at Churchill Downs. His daughter Kadira won at five furlongs by 3 3/4 lengths in :57.72 for Carl F. Pollard. Bred in Kentucky by Thomas-Lakin and a $250,000 Keeneland September yearling, Kadira is out of the grade II-winning Rahy mare Raw Gold.

Kafwain (Cherokee Run--Swazi's Moment, by Moment of Hope) stands for $10,000 at Sheikh Mohammed's Darley near Lexington.
