Polish Gift's First Winner

Polish Gift was represented by his first winner May 28 when his son Margo's Gift won at Emerald Downs at first asking. Bred in Washington by Mrs. William C. Nelson, Margo's Gift ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :51.40 to win for Elttaes Stable. He is the sixth winner from the Knights Choice mare Burgundy Jones.

Polish Gift, a deceased son of Danzig out of the Mr. Prospector mare Miner's Game, stood at Allaire Farms near Poulsbo, Wash., prior to his death in January.
