Posse's First Two Winners Come Same Day

Posse stands at Vinery.

Posse, a grade II winner by Silver Deputy, came through with his first two winners May 26 at Churchill Downs. Both won at 4 1/2 furlongs for Dr. Tom Simon's Vinery Stables in their second race. The filly, Posse Valley, was the first.

Bred in Florida by Grapestock, Posse Valley won in :51.40. She is the first foal from the stakes-placed Eltish mare Eltisha.

Kodiak Kowboy was Posse's second winner. Bred in Kentucky by Hartwell Farm, Kodiak Kowboy won in :50.79. He is the second foal and second winner from the Coronado's Quest mare Kokadrie.

Posse, who is out of the Rahy mare Raska, stands for $12,500 at Vinery near Lexington.
