Najran

Grade III winner Najran was represented by his first winner when his son Sky Cape won May 20 at Hollywood Park in his initial start. Sky Cape ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :51.99 to win for Blue and Visionary Racing. Kristin Mulhall, the breeder of Sky Cape, is the trainer. Sky Cape, a half-brother to two stakes-placed runners, is out of the Marquetry mare Skyscape.

Najran (Runaway Groom--Line Command, by Capote) stands for $7,500 at Rick Trontz' Hopewell Farm near Midway, Ky.
