Aldebaran, champion sprinter of 2003, was represented by his first winner May 17 when his son Ascot Hall won at Belmont Park in his initial start. Bred in Kentucky by B.F. Allee, Pat Payne, and Taylor Made Farm, Ascot Hall won the five furlong race in :58.46 for TYB Stable. He is the first foal from the Unbridled's Song mare Look for Good.

Aldebaran (Mr. Prospector--Chimes of Freedom, by Private Account) stands for $30,000 at Darby Dan Farm (John Phillips, co-managing partner) near Lexington.
