HRTV Begins Telecast of British Races May 18

HorseRacing TV will expand its coverage with an international flair beginning May 18, with ongoing coverage in conjunction with Racing UK of selected United Kingdom events.

The network will launch the coverage with races from Newbury and York, including the Emirates Airline Yorkshire Cup (Eng-II) on May 18, and will show its first group I event, the $396,000 Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes from Newbury, on May 19. HRTV will televise United Kingdom cards on Saturdays, most Fridays and selected other festival racing days.

The highlight of HRTV’s United Kingdom coverage will be the $2,475,000 Vodafone Derby (Eng-I) June 2 from Epsom Downs.
