The two Preakness (gr. I) starters trained by Todd Pletcher, King of the Roxy and Circular Quay, arrived at Pimlico Thursday afternoon after a van ride from Belmont Park.

John Velazquez will ride Michael and Doreen Tabor's Circular Quay, who finished sixth in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), and Garrett Gomez will ride Team Valor's King of the Roxy, who skipped the Derby after running second in the Santa Anita Derby (gr. I).

The two colts were bedded down in the stakes barn, where most of the Preakness starters are stabled. In addition, Sunriver, who will start in the race prior to the Preakness, the William Donald Schaefer (gr. II).

Soaring By, who was entered in the Barbaro on the Preakness undercard, was not on the van. The colt will instead start in Sunday’s Peter Pan Stakes (gr. II) at Belmont.
