Full Mandate's First Winner

Full Mandate, a stakes-winning son of A.P. Indy, was represented by his first winner May 16 when his son, Thoroughly, won at Hollywood Park at first asking. Bred in Florida by Annabel and William F. Murphy, the colt captured a five furlong race in :58.45 by 4 3/4 lengths for Gerson Racing. He is the third winner from the Slewacide mare King's Pact.

Full Mandate, who is out of the Deputy Minister mare Clear Mandate, stands for $5,000 at Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla.
