Nafzger Guest on HRTV's 'Across The Board'

Derby winning trainer Carl Nafzger will be the featured guest on HRTV's "Across The Board" show May 17.

Carl Nafzger, trainer of Street Sense, winner of the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), will be the featured guest on a special Preakness Stakes edition of HRTV’s “Across The Board” show May 17 at 6 p.m. Eastern time. 

During the show hosted by Laffit Pincay III, Nafzger will take a look back at Street Sense's Derby win and look ahead as the colt takes aim at the second jewel of racing's Triple Crown, the grade I Preakness Stakes May 19 at Pimlico Race Course.

Nafzger has won the Derby with Street Sense and Unbridled (1990). The 65-year-old conditioner won the Eclipse Award as outstanding trainer in 1990. He has yet to win the Preakness.
