Aptitude  , last year's leading second-crop sire by progeny earnings, will be sent to Haras Vacacion in Argentina for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season following his current breeding duties at Khalid Abdullah's Juddmonte Farms near Lexington. Aptitude, a 10-year-old son of A.P. Indy   out of the Northern Dancer mare Dokki, is standing at Juddmonte for $20,000.

Aptitude, who ranks 11th among third-crop stallions this year, is the sire of grade I winner Great Hunter and grade III winner Outperformance. Great Hunter, who won last year's Lane's End Breeders' Futurity (gr. I), contested the May 5 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), but ran unplaced. In 2006, Aptitude's son, Steppenwolfer, ran third in the Run for the Roses.
