Another one of Juddmonte Farm's best bred young racehorses is coming to stand stud in Australia. And Juddmonte, owned by Khalid Abdullah, has previously sold Danehill and Quest for Fame to Australia, so the precedent is pretty impressive.
This time, it is David Lucas at Willowbend Stud who has secured the rights to 4-year-old Set Alight, a group III winner as a juvenile in France.
“This is an exceptional looking horse and I welcome people to the farm to inspect him as of late May,” said Lucas, who earlier this year announced U.S. grade I turf winner Nothing to Lose would stand at Willowbend in Queensland.
A son of Hennessy, Set Alight is one of six stakes winners, five of which are graded or group, produced from the stakes-placed Mr. Prospector mare Proflare.
