Shore Breeze's first winner, the filly Grand Obsession, won April 28 at Churchill Downs. Bred by John Haran, Grand Obsession won the 4 1/2-furlong race in :53.37 for Eagle Valley Farm. Haran is part owner of Eagle Valley near Carlisle, Ky., where Shore Breeze (Danzig--Sea Breezer, by Gulch) stands for $5,000.
Grand Obsession is the first named foal from the stakes-placed Zuppardo's Prince mare Princess Who.
