As part of its unprecedented coverage of the Keeneland 2007 spring meet. TVG will provide live, on-site coverage of the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) post-position draw from Keeneland April 11 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern time.
TVG’s Todd Schrupp will be master of ceremonies for the event, introducing the participating owners, trainers, and jockeys, and providing as many as 30 million viewers in the United States, Great Britain, and Ireland insight into the draw.
“The Toyota Blue Grass Stakes is one of the premier events in horseracing, featuring a field of standout horses from across the nation,” said Tony Allevato, TVG senior vice president and executive producer. “We’re excited to bring all aspects of the race to our viewers, beginning with an exclusive look at the post-position draw that will help the trainers and jockeys determine their race strategies.”
The $750,000 Toyota Blue Grass at 1 1/8 miles is scheduled for April 14. TVG will air comprehensive pre- and post-race coverage, complete with in-depth analysis, handicapping angles, and replays.
Post time for the race is 5:46 p.m.; it will be shown on TVG on tape delay. ESPN will show the Toyota Blue Grass live during a one-hour program from 5-6 p.m.
