Aptly named Hollywood Wildcat posted an upset victory at 16-1 odds in the Hollywood Oaks (gr. I) on July 11, 1993. Ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye for trainer Neil Drysdale, Irving and Marge Cowan's homebred daughter of Kris S stalked the pace set by runner-up Fit to Lead before securing the lead in the stretch.
