Goulash Foals Storm Cat Colt

Goulash, the dam of champion Ashado and her full brother, grade II winner Sunriver, has foaled a Storm Catcolt at Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky. The colt was born March 21.
Owned by Aaron and Marie Jones’ Seneca Livestock Co., Goulash (Mari’s Book—Wise Bride, by Blushing Groom) also has a yearling filly by Forestry and is scheduled to be bred back to Unbridled’s Song.

Ashado retired as the third all-time leading distaff money earner in North America. Among her seven grade I triumphs were the Coaching Club American Oaks, God For Wand, and Beldame Stakes. Following her racing career, Ashado was sold for a then-world record price for a broodmare prospect of $9 million.
