Street Cry has sustained an injury that will knock him out of the Kentucky Derby.
Godolphin's Street Cry, winner of the UAE Two Thousand Guineas and runner-up in the UAE Derby, will not run in the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) after suffering an ankle injury Sunday morning.

"He went out for a jog this morning," assistant trainer Tom Albertrani said, "and when he came back we noticed some filling in the right front ankle. He was scheduled to work tomorrow morning and being he will miss that work, you have to rule him out of the Derby. It's really a shame because I thought he had a big chance to win."

Street Cry's stablemate Express Tour will have his first work at Churchill Downs Monday after missing several days of training with a bruised foot.
