A. P. Magic to South Africa

A. P. Magic, a 3-year-old son of  A. P. Indywho was bought for $2.3 million at the Keeneland September yearling sale, has been purchased by Arrowpoint Stud for stallion duty in South Africa.

Bred in Kentucky by Racehorse Management, A. P. Magic is out of the grade II-winning Storm Catmare Magicalmysterycat, who is a half-sister to the dam of The Green Monkey. The latter sold for a record $16 million as a 2-year-old last year.

A. P. Magic, who was bought at Keeneland by John Ferguson for Sheikh Mohammed, did not race because of an injury suffered while in training.
