Menifee Filly Leads Ocala 2-Year-Old Preview Session

This Menifee filly zipped an eighth in :10 flat at Sunday's second session of the OBS Under Tack Preview.

A filly by Menifee consigned by O & H Bloodstock (Terry Oliver and Bo Hunt) zipped an eighth in :10 flat to post the fastest time at the distance at the second session of the Under Tack Preview Sunday for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2007 March Sale of Selected 2-Year-Olds in Training.
The chestnut filly is out of Galleon of Gold, by
Gone West, a half sister to stakes winner Holzmeister. The time was co-fastest of the entire Preview.
Three horses shared honors for the day and the preview's overall fastest quarter mile breeze, getting the distance in :21 1/5.

Forest Wildcat out of Whattacapote, by Capote, consigned by Eisaman Equine, is a half sister to graded stakes winner Here’s Zealous.
-- A dark bay or brown colt by
Tale of the Cat , out of stakes placed Best Mate, by Woodman, consigned by agent Solitary Oak, Inc., is a half sister to graded stakes winner Best Pal.
-- A bay colt by Wiseman’s Ferry out of stakes placed Elmira Gulch, by
Gulch, consigned by agent Niall Brennan Stables.
Horsemen can watch many of the March Sale horses again next week in the Under Tack Show set for March 23-24, beginning each day at 9 a.m.
The March Sale is scheduled for 11 a.m. on March 27-28, a day after the Adena Springs Sale.
