Four Horses Tie For Fastest Quarter-Mile Work In OBS Under Tack Show

Four horses worked quarter-miles in :21 2/5 on Saturday in Central Florida to highlight the fourth and final under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's spring sale of 2-year-olds in training. They were an Our Emblem -- Lomond's Queen colt; Oriana's Magic, a Kipper Kelly -- Magic Meadow filly; a Prospectors Gamble -- Martha Moonshine filly; and Frugality, Fortunate Prospect -- Pinch Penny filly.
Four youngsters also shared honors for the session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer at :10 2/5. They were Trick Or Truth, a Clever Trick -- Little Sunrise filly; Stormy Mary, a Harlan -- Mary Mac filly; Wise Man, a Pioneering -- Menley colt; and Salt Lake -- Missuma colt.
wo horses tied for the day's fastest three-furlong breeze, clocked in :34 3/5. They were a Maria's Mon -- Lady Integrity colt and Lou's Expectations, a Valid Expectations -- Ogygian's Louise colt.
The session's only half-mile work was turned in by Susans Alarm, who breezed the distance in :48. The filly is a daughter of Darn That Alarm -- Once Around Sue.
The OBS spring sale is scheduled to run from Monday ( April 23) through Thursday (April 26). All sessions are continuous and begin at 10:30 a.m. (EDT).
