A Giant's Causeway  colt was foaled March 12, a day after his half-sister, Rags to Riches, won the Santa Anita Oaks (gr. I).

The colt, who also is a half-brother to 2006 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) winner Jazil, is boarded at John Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington. He was bred by Hill 'n' Dale Equine Holdings and Southern Equine Stables.

Better Than Honour, dam of the newborn, is the dam of six foals, including an unnamed Giant's Causeway yearling colt. Better Than Honour, by Deputy Minister, is booked to Giant's Causeway's sire, Storm Cat. An earlier mating of Storm Cat and Better Than Honour resulted in the winning filly Teeming, the mare's first foal, who produced an A.P. Indy filly March 14 at Hill 'n' Dale. The filly was bred by Hill 'n' Dale Equine Holdings and Edward McGhee.
