Three Share Fastest Workout Times in Barretts Under Tack Show

Filly by Malibu Moon was among the fastest horses working an eighth of a mile at Barretts preview.

Two fillies and a colt tied for the fastest work at an eighth of a mile, each stopping the clock in :9 4/5 Monday at Fairplex Park during the first under tack show for the Barretts March select sale of 2-year-olds in training in Southern California. The colt is by Johannesburg out of Decadent Designer and is consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent. One of the fastest-working fillies is by Bernstein -- Cometuseibella, also consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds, agent. The other, by Malibu Moon  -- Tsu Lou, is consigned by Sequel Bloodstock , agent.

An Officer -- Rovie Waid turned in the fastest quarter-mile time of :20 4/5. He is consigned by B.C.3. Thoroughbreds who stopped the clock in 20 4/5.
 
The second, and final, training preview is scheduled for March 18. The auction will be held March 20 in the Hinds Pavilion at Fairplex, beginning at 2:00 p.m. (PDT).
