AAEA Announces 2007 Workshops

The American Academy of Equine Art, based at the Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington, is offering 13 workshops by full members from June-Oct.

A partial list of the sessions, instructors and dates follows:

Watercolor Techniques and the Horse: Susan Dorazio, June 4-8.

Basic Equine Drawing: Barbara Oelke, June 18-22.

Painting with Power and Sensitivity: Ellen Gavin, June 25-29 (Conducted at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, New Bolton Center).

Sculpture: Form and Motion: Shelley Hunter, June 25-29.

Fear of Pastels: Christine Cancelli, July 9-13.

Horse Portraits from Photographs (painting): James Crow, August 6-10.

Understanding Structure: Kathleen Friedenberg, Sept. 17-21.

Improving Your (Oil) Painting: Bill Fletcher, Oct. 8-12.
