TVG's "The Works" Return

TVG today announced its broadcast schedule of live events from Churchill Downs surrounding the Kentucky Derby (gr. I) and the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I), highlighted by "The Works." Derby Watch 2001 coverage from Louisville will commence with "The Works" on Monday, April 23 and will conclude with post-Derby reports from the track on Sunday, May 6.

The Works, a live one-hour Kentucky Derby/Oaks morning workout show from Churchill Downs, will be hosted again by TVG's Caton Bredar. Bredar will be joined by analysts Frank Lyons and Gary Mandella as well as correspondent Jeff Lifson. The Works will once again include special guest hosts, interviews with trainers, owners, jockeys and commentators as well as special features on Derby/Oaks participants. The show will air daily on TVG from 11:00 a.m. EDT to Noon EDT from April 23-May 3

TVG's entire Trackside Live! studio show will originate from a set at Churchill Downs from Saturday, April 28, opening day of the spring/summer meet at the track, through Thursday, May 3.
