Australian champion and leading stallion Redoute's Choice sired his first reported North American foal, a filly, born Feb. 6 at Windfields Farm near Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Bred by Stuart Hyman's Shyman Farm, the filly is out of Australian group winner Gold Crystal (by Made of Gold).
Redoute's Choice (Danehill--Shantha's Choice, by Canny Lass) stands at John Messara's Arrowfield Stud near Scone in New South Wales.
Gold Crystal will remain in North America and is booked to Henny Hughes, who stands at Sheikh Mohammed's Darley near Lexington.
