Three Share Fastest Workout Times in OBS Under Tack Show

Three horses each drilled a quarter mile in :21, which was the fastest time for the distance Sunday during the first under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s February select juvenile auction. The workouts were held at the OBS track in Central Florida.

The quick workers were a colt by Yes It’s True out of Cocktail, (by Relaunch), consigned by Hoby and Layna Kight, agents; a colt by Lightnin N Thunderout of Far Sighted Sal (by Distant View), also consigned by the Kights; and a Forest Wildcatfilly out of Texas Robbery (by Mr. Prospector), consigned by Paul Sharp, agent.

American County turned in the session’s fastest eighth of a mile, stopping the timer in :10. Consigned by McKathan Farms, agent, the bay filly is by Gibson Countyand is out of Young American (by Pentelicus).

Thirteen horses breezed eighths in :10 1/5.

The sale's second and final under tack show is scheduled for Feb. 11, beginning at 9 a.m. (EST). The auction will be held Feb. 13 at the OBS sale pavilion. The starting time is noon (EST).
