Churchill Downs to Offer Condolence Cards for Barbaro's Connections

Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum will position large condolence cards at their main customer entrances Jan. 31, offering customers and race fans the opportunity to send personal messages to the connections of Kentucky Derby 132 winner Barbaro following his death Jan. 29. 

Those wishing to sign the large condolence cards may do so Jan. 31, beginning at noon EST inside Churchill Downs Gate 17 (entrance to simulcast-wagering area) or inside the main entrance to the Kentucky Derby Museum (near Churchill Downs Gate 1).  The large condolence cards will remain in place until they are filled with signatures, at which time Churchill Downs will ship them to Barbaro’s connections.
